Missionary Spotlight: Mark and Krista Haley

Mark and Krista Haley are doing amazing work for Jesus through Impact Ethiopia Ministries. Since 2015, they have planted churches, trained national leaders and developed curriculums that are pertinent to Ethiopian culture. They have also developed small groups that work throughout multiple regions in Ethiopia, provided healthcare for people in need and invested in women's and children's ministries. Their ministry is supported through generous donations from others. Missionaries Feed Communities in Need

Missionaries that Tomoka supports in El Salvador had the opportunity to feed 136 families with funds Tomoka sent them. "We were able to purchase groceries for three communities in need," said Andrea Geisinger, who along with her husband, Joshua, have been doing all kinds of work to bless communities throughout the region. This time, they were able to feed families in Boca Poza, La Preza and La Perla. Many of the families they fed were farmers, who live in very rural areas. Others live in small beach communities that had lots of residents lose jobs

Tomoka Blesses Missionaries in Costa Rica

Tomoka was recently able to bless missionaries in Costa Rica in a huge way. We donated thousands of pounds of food, bought land for their church and gave them a motorcycle that will help them reach more people. "Tomoka is honored to get to partner with Maegan and Christian, who have been working in the southern part of Costa Rica for nearly two decades," said Missions Director Connie Davis. Appalachia Team Works With Anchor Ridge Ministries

The Appalachia mission team recently returned from their trip to North Carolina and West Virginia, where they served with Anchor Ridge Ministries.  Anchor Ridge is an organization that is passionate about changing the lives of underprivileged citizens in the Appalachian region. The main objective of the mission team was to help Anchor Ridge renovate their new 30,000 square foot headquarters. “We helped paint ceiling tiles, do insulation, paint the walls in the lobby, and basically make it so it’s functional for [Anchor Ridge],” said team member, Lindsey Thomas. El Salvador Mission Team Gives Families Clean Water

The El Salvador mission team made a huge impact in the lives of families during their recent trip.  One of their major accomplishments was giving Filter of Hope water filters to families that didn't have any access to clean drinking water. Giving these families clean water not only helped the team develop stronger relationships, it also opened the door for them to share God’s word. Other outstanding accomplishments during the trip include leading Vacation Bible School at multiple locations, helping with English classes, working in a nursing home and distributing bags of supplies to families in need. Namibia Mission Team Blesses Children

Tomoka's Namibia mission team blessed children in Okahandja, Namibia back in early July. During their trip, the team built a swing set, a "Flintstones" car, bridge obstacles, climbing obstacles and more. "Our main focus was relationship building," said Trip Leader Jim Moore. "Jesus was all about building relationships, and that's where we put our main objective, which was accomplished through the working of the Holy Spirit, as many relationships were built and continued on from years past."
