Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult things a person can go through. The healing process can be challenging and difficult, especially if you are not sure how to deal with those emotions. If you lost a loved one during quarantine, we know circumstances have made this an even more difficult process for you. Tomoka wants you to know that we would like to help you get through this challenging season in your life. We hope the video above offers you comfort, and we are always willing to sit and talk with you, even if it’s not in-person. Our Director of Counseling, Annette Peterson offers Zoom counseling sessions. Contact her at the link below to set up a session.
If you have recently lost a loved one, we encourage you to attend GriefShare, at the Ormond campus. A new session began at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, June 1, in Meeting Room 6, but it’s not too late to join. This 13-week course provides a caring, friendly and loving environment for anyone struggling with the loss of a loved one. Sign up here to find help, hope and healing.
