Tomoka's thrift store, A Second Blessing, recently held a two-day sale to increase funds for missions. The sale, which offered 50 percent off all items, including Christmas in July and boutique, was a huge success.
During the two days of the sale, the thrift store raised $3,073, for a weekly total of $4,285. This is a 315 percent increase over average weekly sales. Every penny from the thrift store benefits missions.
"A big thank you to everyone who made our two-day sale an incredibly successful event," said Tomoka's Cafe and Thrift Store Director, Sean Reyes. "Your support blessed the local, statewide and international missions of Tomoka Christian Church."
