The next step after the Fresh Start program that uses the twelve steps to provide continued support and accountability for those being transformed from a life of addiction to recovery.
Biblical counseling uses the all-sufficient Word of God to teach, rebuke, correct and train in righteousness so that we can live to the glory of God and His goodness. (Timothy 3:16-17. 2 Peter 1:3.) Lay leaders of the church serve as counselors. The church does not charge a fee for sessions, at the counseling center in the Tomoka Plaza nearby the Ormond Beach campus. There is hope for those in bondage through the Pure Life Project, a Christ-centered ministry of Tomoka Christian Church. Jesus brings freedom and healing to those who will earnestly call on His name. Those struggling following a divorce or separation are invited to heal with those who understand. Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. DivorceCare 4 Kids (DC4K) is offered concurrently for kids ages 5-12 years old and a nursery for younger kids is available. Meets on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. from Feb. 20-May 15.
Losing a loved one can shake up your life. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. The 13-week support group will begin meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, in the Link.
