KIDS’ BEACH is a fun place where the whole family can experience God, learn about Him and become who He wants us to be! Jesus loves children and so do we!

What is Kids’ Beach? Kids’ Beach is the Children’s Ministry at Tomoka Christian Church for newborns through fifth graders, held in the Family Life Center.

Did you know that it is a new day in Children’s Ministry? That means we are committed to using innovative and creative ways to help children experience God, learn more about Him and become who He wants them to be!

Our former Kid’s Church/Sunday School model has given way to a large group/small group format which means kids get the best of both experiences all in the same service. Children hear Bible stories in creative ways, using today’s technology and worship with heartfelt energy in large-group time.

After that, kids break up into small groups where they are mentored by a lifeguard (small group leader) and are encouraged to apply the Bible lesson they just heard to their lives during the week. Kids get all that and have LOTS of fun all during one service. We do our best to provide a safe place for kids to get to know their new BFF — Jesus! Our background-checked volunteers lovingly help children grow in Christ every week.

Four specially created areas cater to various age groups.

Lullaby Lagoon provides loving care to newborns through 2 year olds and non-potty-trained 3 year olds.

The Ocean is the perfect place for potty-trained 3 year olds through kindergartners to learn about Jesus.

Children in first and second grades find the games, lessons and fun at The Shore just right for them.

The Wave is the spot for the oldest children of Kids’ Beach — those in third through fifth grades.
